Product Overview

Burdock roots are very fibrous, resulting in soft, stringy, cottony-type material when cut. Burdock Root can be used to make a pleasant tasting tea.

  • Origin: Bulgaria
  • Botanical name: Arctium lappa L.

Directions:To use as a tea, add 1 tsp. of herb to a tea infuser and place the infuser in a teacup. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the infuser. Cover and let steep for 3-5 minutes.

 

Make your own Burdock and Dandelion Tea 

1. Add 2 Tablespoons Dandelion Root to 4 Cups of Water in a medium pot and,

2. Add 2 Tablespoons Burdock Root and

3. Add 1 Tablespoons Roasted Chicory Root.

4. Bring to a Boil and add 1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup Granules.

5. Cover, reduce heat, and let simmer for 20 minutes.

6. Strain

7. Pour into Two 8 oz. Mugs and add Almond Milk to Lighten.
